Review on 🔒 Erickson 34415 Pro Series Black Ratchet Tie-Down Straps, Pack of 2, 1-Inch x 10-Foot by Jump Robinson

I had old retractable ratchet straps that I liked and they still did their job but the retractors didn't work properly so I decided to replace them with these. I used these straps to secure a small 350lb 250cc motorcycle to a ramp in the back of my RV. I rode down the road for about 15 minutes and noticed in the rear chamber that the bike was moving a little so I pulled over and indeed the straps loosened a little. While I didn't have these issues with my previous straps, I figured that maybe the bike had leveled out after hitting a few bumps in the road, so I re-tightened them and continued on my way. The same happened about 15 minutes later. I pulled again and sure enough the straps were loose. When I put them back on I noticed that they were thinner. Fearing they might break, I took them off and put my old straps back on and completed the rest of my 1,500 mile journey with peace of mind. I would not recommend these straps if you intend to use them to secure something that could cause significant damage if they come loose.
