As a monitor, it works well enough for us. It is very light which makes it very portable when you are on the go. There are a few things I don't like about this monitor. It doesn't come with a carry case like some others, it's not a big deal just a note for those who want to know. The stand works in both portrait and landscape modes, but is difficult to pull out for use and easily slides in at the slightest attempt to reposition the monitor (causing the monitor to fall). This monitor has built-in speakers, but they're pretty much useless as the maximum volume we were able to get them to work was about 15% of our laptop's speaker volume.
