Excellent light for its price. I have it on a 5.5 gallon aquarium. I wanted to add another light already included. I have to say that thing is super bright. I have a photo for comparison. I'm sure the tank will grow like crazy with both. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because when I received it there was a wire sticking out of the plating. I wanted to return it and customer service agreed, but I removed the panel and reinstalled the cord when I needed the light. It was a cosmetic issue because the light works fine. The big problem is that it gets hot. It doesn't burn, but you can't keep your hand on the device for more than a minute or two. Not sure if this is the specific tool I have or not. In general it seems to work as expected, except for the heat.
