Review on Calphalon CKCLWF1 Intellicrisp Waffle Maker: Perfectly Crispy Waffles in Dark Stainless Steel by Nathan Tank

So I bought it twice. The first waffle maker had the same issues that many other reviewers have noted: The timer and cooking sensor don't always work or sync. Sometimes the waffle maker didn't realize I put batter in it, closed it, and started the timer. I thought I had a malfunction so I ordered another one as a replacement...same problems as the first one. It's a little disappointing, especially from a good brand and at this price point. Still, I love the waffles I make with this waffle maker. Absolutely crispy and golden brown. Crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. Great family dinners when we have waffles. I'm on the fence with this waffle maker. Just be aware that you have to stand there and watch the waffles cook as the timer or sensor doesn't work at all.
