We have a basic open style trash can from Target, the 8 gallon type. We were able to get drawstring bags at Target for the size before Covid-19, but haven't seen any since. Bought these (and in bulk) to give them a try - wow, worth the money! They are really strong, the draw string is great and I love that it isn't a super obvious red. It looks really clean, because it fits over the trashcan edges tightly. A little too tight, actually. That's why I'm marking it down 1 star, but it could be due to our trashcan? But most trashcan mouths bow outs that I have seen. Anyway, I really had to fight to get the bag over the edges of the can (and man, these bags didn't tear or anything, despite me and roommate pulling at it at the same time). It took some finessing and getting used to, but we finally got the bag to fit. Inside the can, it's perfect, and it looks great outside, just getting it around the edges is going to take some strength and patience. I've used a few bags now and I can get the bag on in under 30 seconds, still a little irritating. For the price and having the right size, with a draw string and a bag that I can trust not to rip on me half way to the dumpster - I'd buy them again. Also, shipping was fast, I think I got them in under 4 days.
