I have bought several of these over the years and the ends have never been flat and I have had to trim the ends. Not to mention that some of them were twisted about 7 degrees in length. I never knew they were that bad until I started examining them carefully and placing them on the surface of the plate. Needless to say I will be cutting my own from now on because I need my builds to be square and correct and there is no point paying premium prices for these precut pieces if I have to cut them to make them square anyway at the ends. This way I get 3 self-tapping pieces for the price of one and the ends will be fine.
