Optical alcoholmeter, aka Refractometer. I've been using this device for a couple of years now. A friend gave it to me for my birthday. I used to use glass aerometers, but when I got this refractometer, I mostly use it only! To start working with him, it is really desirable to correct, calibrate the readings on some proven alcoholic drink. Fortunately, this is not difficult to do, the kit includes a small screwdriver to adjust the adjustment screw. I calibrated on vodka, whiskey and just moonshine tested on glass aerometers. Shows the readings perfectly and does not lie) You just need a drop of liquid and bring it to the light so that it can be clearly seen.
