These plastic clips helped a lot with our pegboard. perforated plate.

If you have a perforated panel you will need these plastic clips to hold the metal hooks. In the past, the hooks sometimes came loose when I removed the tools from the pegboard. Now that I put the plastic clips on the hooks, the hooks don't move. It's much more convenient to use a pegboard with clips to hold the hooks in place.
