Review on Vitamix 15842 Container 32 Oz by Nathan Ortiz

TLDR1) Approx 9 3/4" height, 17" at mixer 2) No tamper included BUT tamper for original tall skinny 64 oz works great (large to small stem) 3 ) gray cap not interchangeable with old 644) blade looks new but assembly was scratched5) replaced, I will update Hello Vita-Mix colleagues! I have a Vita-Mix 5000 (VM0103) with the original 64oz clear handle jar and finally decided to purchase a new smaller 32oz jar. I ordered from Revain instead of Vita-Mix as delivery is 'by tomorrow'. I made sure to search the list for "for sale" and "ship" Revain and ordered. I received a box from Revain Fulfillment Services and inside was a brown box with the Vitamix logo, not a retail box (I think some are in brown boxes and some are in picture boxes?). There was a manufacturing label on the top of the box which read: -MINI 32 OZ/.9L/TRITAN/WET BL/LID/NO NSFITEM: 015842MODEL: VM0137Date and Time of Packing (I guess?) 12/2020UPC CodeEAN- CodeI excitedly opened the box, pulling out a jar and instructions. For those of you wondering, there wasn't a rammer, but the rammer from my original tall, thin 64-ounce container is perfectly formed and stops about 1 inch from the blade. The jar has shifted in the box which has caused a scratch on the gray lid which isn't a big deal but thought I'd mention it. Measures approximately 9 3/4" tall with lid and approximately 17" tall from base with lid. It sits perfectly between the "fingers" of the rubber centering pad. The lid is gray instead of black, not as "rubber" as the '64, and has two tabs that snap onto the top of the container. 64 and 32 are not interchangeable. After removing the cover, I noticed a nick and severe scratches around the nut holding the blade and cone just below the blade. My sixteen year old container hasn't even been scratched! The blade itself looks brand new along with the case, cap (no wear) and locking ring. I have contacted Revain and selected an exchange and will update as soon as it becomes available.
