12v power supply

Added this to my entertainment center to run 12v led lighting. I've heard some complaints about fan noise, but mine is pretty quiet. I noticed that the fan has variable speed. The fan spins up with increasing load. My total load is only 0.5 amps at 12 volts and when I added another load of 1.75 amps = 2.25 amps the fan speed doubled but was still quiet enough that I could put it 15 feet from your chair couldn't hear while watching TV. I have a full 7.1 surround sound system so not hearing the fan probably helps. I still don't find it very loud. I like it and it works great. I got about 30 hours on the power supply at 2.25 amps on a 12 volt circuit, so I'm not loading the unit at 30 amps at all. This is the maximum score. Good power supply for what I use it for and plan to add another 2 amps soon. To update; 10/14/2020 Still working great, I added another 1 amp to the load so I now have 3.1 amps which is 10% of max load and now the fan runs louder. I need to move the power supply to an isolated location so I can't hear it now. Yes, the fan gets louder from 10% of the maximum load.
