Very nice mantel clock - you can admire the movement through the glass from the side
I received my clock yesterday and I am very happy with it. The wood was a little darker than the picture but it's very pretty. What I like the most is the ability to see the clock running from the side. From my seat I can watch the hammers bang the gong. Overall I give this five stars. It's worth the $1399 I paid.
