Works well at 1920 x 1080, which is the highest resolution my monitor can handle. Unfortunately, at this resolution, the color quality degraded a bit (not enough to bother me at all) and the image looked a bit stretched. The Rankie brand is well established. I have another adapter (HDMI-VGA) that has been working fine for about a year. None of the adapters appear to be close to death. The size is also quite appropriate. The exit of the cable is of great importance. A regular adapter would break on my computer, but this one flexes like a regular cable - solid connections, no wobble, and a solid feel.
