Installation was easy once you understood how the weight distribution works and how the hitch should be installed. After proper installation, connection is not difficult. Be sure to turn off sway control on both sides when connecting. This allows you to easily attach any bar whether your tractor perfectly matches your trailer or not. Also, remember to raise the drawbar after the trailer is hooked up before locking each bar. Lowering the tongue as each bar engages distributes the weight. It's at this point that you'll need to turn on Sway Control if you're towing long distances or on the freeway.
