Recently renovated golf cart. While the body was off I bought this lighting kit so I could easily route all the new wiring up the frame and neatly mount and install the new lights. After reinstalling the body and testing everything, I tried out the new headlights. phew! When I pressed the switch, the fuse blew. I replaced the fuse, same thing, it blew again but this time the headlight only caught fire for a second. What happened? The headlights went out. How sweet. After several hours of work and testing, I finally found that this wiring harness was incorrectly connected, defective, mine at least. LOOK AT THE PICTURES, RED WON'T TURN TO RED ON THESE CONNECTORS, EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT. Are you willing to take the risk? In the photo there are two connectors. As you can see these two connectors have different wiring. How can you have a simple 12 volt lighting system that works when the factory wiring doesn't match? You can not. I repackaged the crap and went back to Revain. Not Raven's fault. What a waste of time and energy.
