Review on EAMBRITE 12V DC Electric Hydraulic Car Floor Jack: Powerful LED-lit Solution for Car, Sedan, Van, SUV, and Trucks (6.1-17.3 inch) by Pedro Curtis

Pros: I used it to change wheelsets on my 17 year old Golf R. It worked as advertised. I bought this small (5.3" clearance) to fit under my low car (it actually has some clearance). It feels sturdy and easily lifts my small car. I now carry this jack, a full-size spare tire, and an eye wrench for road trips (neither of which came with my car). Improvements: I would add a power cord adapter with battery clips. Some cigarette lighter plugs, like mine, only work when the car is running (button start). For security reasons, I wanted my machine to be off while I was working on it. The connector included in the kit did not allow this. I ended up connecting the battery directly to the terminals of the charger I have with the same type of connector (it worked once I figured out the polarity). Cons: The packaging is bulky for my VW's limited cargo space. sinks slightly on softer surfaces. Since concrete or tarmac aren't guaranteed in places where you need to change a tire, it's a good idea to carry around a piece of plywood the size of a mousepad for support.
