I finally got my hands on the ETCHR sketchbook and it's beautiful. I have the CP size 8.3 x 11.7 inches, it's a 100% cotton rag with non animal sizes and it's better than the Mole watercolor album I bought for the same price. The watercolor dries evenly and rises evenly, which is sometimes a problem when gluing toilet paper. All the little details are important. I prime the cover for the acrylic painting. It was difficult to paint over the cool embroidery, but it actually gets stronger for the acrylic layers protecting it. because if you're like me, no white notebook stays white for long. It has a rougher CP finish than most, but erases pencil like a dream, which is always good when overpainting a sketch in watercolor. Next I will buy a smaller HP.
