Makes delicious coffee with a less expensive taste.

I really like the coffee from this coffee maker. It brews hotter than most I've had, including much more expensive ones that rank very highly in consumer reports and independent coffee websites. My morning brew for eight cups takes about 8 or 9 minutes, so the time is well timed and within the recommended brewing time. It's also easy to use. The top part at the front lifts up to pour out water and the basket holder opens to place the filter and coffee grounds. It is narrow and not very deep, which is good for small kitchens. The coffee maker is of high quality, slightly heavier than other manufacturers. He doesn't have a call to tell me when the coffee is ready, but I listen when he's done brewing. It actually works better for me than my previous coffee maker, which had a very soft chime when it finished and I didn't hear it most of the time. In addition, all packaging is recyclable. Cardboard and egg cartons instead of rigid foam! I live in a small area so I look at what can and cannot be recycled. Thank you HB!
