Don't buy this unless you need a reason to file a claim for fire insurance.

Purchased on March 30th - smoked in dash on June 25th. Less than 3 months. I liked this receiver because it was very cheap and had the ability to work with MP3 files on an SD card. With the right wiring harness and dash adapter (both sold separately) it was easy to install and the sound was surprisingly good. At an ambient temperature of 70 degrees, however, it gets very hot and the device does not have an external heat sink. Well, just so you know, I'm not your typical consumer when it comes to audio electronics. I have 30+ years as an electronics engineer and 15+ years as a component engineer dealing with temperature related failures. I was concerned about excessive heat in the case but decided to see how well it would work. On June 25, while driving 75 mph on the interstate, I noticed a noticeable and familiar smell of a burning component, followed by smoke from the dashboard. Removing the bezel solved the problem, but if I didn't know what to do it could have been worse. My car did not catch fire, but any fire in the car, even local, can become critical. This thing is not designed to withstand the extreme temperatures that are common in the US during the summer. I have no intention of sending this thing in for warranty repair simply because the design is so bad it will likely fail again after repair. it was cheap. At first it sounded good. Then he failed in a dangerous, disastrous way. Since it can cause thousands of dollars worth of damage to vehicles and possibly injure someone, I would not recommend it to any consumer and it should be removed from the market.

Pros
