I received this kit to remove and replace the original red GMC logo on the tailgate of my truck. After removing the old logo, I used an eraser to remove the remaining double sided tape. Everything was working fine (at least it seemed to me) until I erased the rest of the eraser. Obvious paint wear. At first I thought it was just duct tape residue, so I wiped some more off. Then it turned out that the wheel had indeed damaged the paintwork. I had to use some black polish and wax (my truck is black) to at least "hide" the damage. I don't know if I was too aggressive or if the eraser material is just junk, but the end result is corrupted. Dye. There were no instructions in the kit to guide me or let me know this was a possible outcome. Attention buyers!
