I didn't think NOTHING would help my two obedience school dropouts. But after just three days of wearing the collar, dog #1 will now behave when speaking to passing neighbors. Note that this is a formerly aggressive, tearing, growling, barking, threatening dog that will now stand obediently in the yard with a stranger for ten minutes or more. Shocking! Speaking of which, we didn't need the shock function after two barks. We turned it off and it only responded to vibration and beep. We're currently using the collar on dog #2, no shock, and it's worked surprisingly well on her too - and she's a five-year-old Australian Cattle/Australian Shepherd mix who *was* too reactive. I highly recommend this product. And note: unless you're a truly "hardcore" barker, a electroshock or two is enough to correct bad behavior.
