My dog was accidentally shocked by this collar when he wasn't even barking. He was also shocked on several occasions when other dogs around him barked, although the collar is advertised as not specifically doing so, it's all a lie. This product is falsely advertised and not working properly. DO NOT BUY IT! It also doesn't have an option to turn off the very loud horn, defeating the purpose of the collar when you're trying to reduce noise.

Our dog is partially rotten and very protective. I went through several collars trying to find one that would stop her frenzied barking once she started acting. This collar definitely helps to break the vicious circle. She's a tough dace and will continue to bark even with the collar on as it goes through various stages of correction, but she stops far sooner than ever with any other collar I've tried. We're still trying - she's in!

We tried a few devices to keep the noise to a minimum. This one became my favorite within half an hour. she knew she had to stop barking. It's not something that has to be continued all day or all the time. That's when she barks uncontrollably and we're on a hike or in a car and she barks at anything that moves.
