Our 15lb Shih Tsu and Bolognese mix does it well and loves both chicken and beef. She gets two packages a day: a chicken, a beef and even little treats in between. She is 6 years old and not overweight at all. They were originally developed to make kibble more palatable and nutritious, and the high protein content keeps them active and healthy. They can be a bit pricey but it's worth it knowing she's getting real meat and loving her.
