I just don't understand all the 5 star reviews for this set. I just do not know. That beats me. These beads are of lower quality than the ones you will find in the children's section of craft stores. If I had known, I would have bought plastic beads at a craft store! These beads are NOT shiny like in the photo. They do not flicker and are made of the lowest quality plastic. A lot of the pieces were broken and I couldn't use them, which was fine because I had beads left over. I left the beads because the brushes you put the beads on weren't long enough to make all the icicles the same size. That doesn't bother me at all because icicles come in different sizes in real life. My problem is that the company does not produce a high quality and consistent product. I find that disrespectful and disappointing. How difficult is it to supply the right size pipe cleaners? I improvised, but I didn't have to. This set was not worth the price at all. Also, wherever I applied glue, brushes and beads turned amber. I used normal school glue. Now I have icicles with dark orange dots at the bottom. It makes me so mad. I have to coat the icicles with an extra fine sheen to make them even remotely beautiful or presentable. I'm sure once I fake them they can be beautiful. At the moment they look very cheap. I suppose, You can use them along with a gift tag about Christmas presents. It would look nice. But I can't say I recommend them at all. Also, they are MUCH smaller than I thought. Please don't waste your money. Instead, do the following: 1. Go to a craft store2. Buy a silver or white pipe cleaner (or any color you like). Make a loop at the top.3. Thread 6 large snowflakes and then 6 small snowflakes. Then 3 large round beads, 3 medium, 3 small, some glue at the bottom. Ready.
