I originally bought this for first graders to make as a project but I quickly realized the small beads are quite small and would be difficult for children to make do ages, and they would often drop them on the floor, so I decided to just make them at home with my son. If I had known, I would have bought plastic beads at a craft store! These beads are NOT shiny like in the photo. They do not flicker and are made of the lowest quality plastic.
