This mop holds water! I soaked this mop in diluted detergent and a mop bucket full of water for an hour before using it. He sucked up a ton of water! I was concerned the fibers would be waterproof due to the coating, but this is NOT the case. I think my floor was cleaner than ever, the fibers just attracted dirt like a magnet. So happy with the quality of this product.
