Review on πŸŽ’ Osprey Packs Atmos Backpack Abyss: Unleash Your Adventures with Unparalleled Comfort and Durability! by Joshua Mejia

Day walking mule.

Come on, we've seen it all. A girl in yoga pants on a trail swings her arms back and forth while carrying only a bottle of water as she talks about how warm it is. Then a sweaty guy panting behind her tries to keep up while being crushed with all the gear in his backpack. 80% of their stuff that probably won't even be used all the time when you go camping. It's me, I'm a sweaty guy. So you better think I'll spend everything I have on a backpack that will make my work on the pack mule bearable. This can be overkill for the average day hiker who only walks around 10-20 miles per hike. My last backpack was made for school, not hiking. It was right on my back so air couldn't get in there, which created a pretty awkward situation. Every time we took a break and I took it off I was afraid that the wet wet thing would be put back on me. This pack is much better in that regard. It has a nice breathable mesh on the back that allows for some pretty decent airflow. My biggest concern right now is that with the extra space in this backpack, my wife might find more useless stuff to carry around.

Pros
  • Adjustable harness and Fit-on-the-Fly waistbelt for a perfect fit
Cons
  • There are bugs
