AWESOME BACKPACK good for hunting and fishing

I am so happy and satisfied. This backpack is just awesome, the weight distribution is just a dream, with other backpacks I have felt discomfort in the right side of my body for years, why? I don't know but with my Atmos it's like a dream, I don't feel uncomfortable after 5 miles or more. I sweat a lot) The water tank is very useful and it's nice to have that option. The only thing I would add in my opinion is a rain cover, some other packages are included, this rain cover is an additional $37,

Pros
  • Detachable floating top cover with 2 zip pockets and net attachment points
Cons
  • unreliable

Osprey have come a long way with this kit

I bought the Osprey Atmos a few years ago when it first came out and he i didn't really like it. It wasn't very practical so I bought a Grant Gear Crown Vic and used this one instead. However, now I'm getting older and less fit, so I slowed down a lot. I'm no longer focused on putting the miles behind me, so I pick up heavier loads and walk fewer miles. I love to fish, hunt and cook by the campfire. I also take fresh steaks and ribs to roast over a campfire, all of which adds weight to what was

Pros
  • Internal hydration reservoir holds up to 3L reservoir (sold separately)
Cons
  • Some bugs

Day walking mule.

Come on, we've seen it all. A girl in yoga pants on a trail swings her arms back and forth while carrying only a bottle of water as she talks about how warm it is. Then a sweaty guy panting behind her tries to keep up while being crushed with all the gear in his backpack. 80% of their stuff that probably won't even be used all the time when you go camping. It's me, I'm a sweaty guy. So you better think I'll spend everything I have on a backpack that will make my work on the pack mule bearable…

Pros
  • Adjustable harness and Fit-on-the-Fly waistbelt for a perfect fit
Cons
  • There are bugs

Easy in space - I really had to slide stuff in there.

Expected more for the money. Putting a full water bag in the main compartment reduces the volume for other things. The straps of the sleeping bag are a bit short and the separately available waterproof cover does not cover the sleeping pad when it rains. I had to carry my bedside tablecloth by hand in the rain as the straps are hidden by the cover. I think it's ok if the sleeping bag gets wet (sarcasm). Also, with a rain cover it's difficult to put on a backpack as you have to put your hands…

Pros
  • Stretch mesh front pocket for quick storage of a raincoat or extra layers of clothing
Cons
  • Slightly torn

The best backpack ever!

I'm 63 years old, love the outdoors and want the best, highly functional and durable multi-day/weekend backpack at a reasonable price. I don't hike so my goal was a heavier but more durable backpack. 2021 brought the new Aether 65 against the older Atmos 65, both of which were my top contenders. I chose the older Atmos 65 based on the very positive reviews on YouTube and the fantastic price recently posted on Revain in February 2021. $239.00 brand new! My Atmos arrived today and to my surprise…

Pros
  • Anti-Gravity Strap - Feels like you are carrying less weight than in a backpack
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
