Review on All-Clad HA1 Hard Anodized Nonstick Frying Pan with Lid, 12 Inch - Superior Cooking Experience in Medium Grey by Ronald Duguay

First impressions are good

Over the years I've found that expensive as they are, virtually all nonstick pans are disposable. They can extend their lifespan with care (don't wash them in the dishwasher, don't use metal utensils, don't expose them to high heat, etc.), but eventually they all lose their smoothness, usually within 1-2 years. Spending big bucks on expensive non-stick pans just isn't worth it. Going cheaper isn't good either though as cheaper pots warp easily and most are made out of cheap aluminum and won't work on my induction cooktop. So far this pan seems to be a good compromise. It's not cheap, it's a good weight, it's induction-ready, it seems strong enough not to warp, but it's not very expensive either. I also like the shape with a less beveled edge that gives you a more realistic workspace for cooking. We'll see how it holds up, although I don't expect it to be much better than any other nonstick pan.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Almost never
