Description of All-Clad HA1 Hard Anodized Nonstick Frying Pan with Lid, 12 Inch - Superior Cooking Experience in Medium Grey

A kitchen staple featuring a flat base and flared, mid-sized sides that allow for easy flipping and tossing. Made from heavy-gauge, hard-anodized aluminum coated with 3 layers of a safe PFOA-free nonstick material that delivers unparelleled release, scratch-resistance, and durability. Compatible with all cooktops, including induction thanks to its durable, anti-warp stainless-steel base, and safe to use in an oven and broiler (up to 500°F). Secured with riveted stainless steel handles to ensure a safe grip and tempered glass lid to see progress and lock in moisture. Dishwasher safe but we recommend handwashing to preserve the nonstick coating. And you just might want to hold onto it a little longer.

The bottom isn't flat, it's convex

an excellent frying pan. But I also noticed a few reviews that said the bottoms of the pans they received were not flat. The first thing I did was test my product with about 1/3 cup of water. In the center was a dry "island" - fairly flat bottom and good conductivity. For 80 euros I really expect better. He comes back. If you come across this pan, I advise you to test it.

Pros
  • a handy touch
Cons
  • It's hard to remember, but judging by the reviews it was

Wears out quickly despite good maintenance

I have a large All Clad stainless steel set and I am so glad we bought it. We've been going through less extensive nonstick pans every 6 months, so we've increased them. These pans are 14 months old and we need new ones because the non-stick coating has worn off. They have never been washed in the dishwasher and did not use metal utensils. They were the perfect pan, but not for long.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

First impressions are good

Over the years I've found that expensive as they are, virtually all nonstick pans are disposable. They can extend their lifespan with care (don't wash them in the dishwasher, don't use metal utensils, don't expose them to high heat, etc.), but eventually they all lose their smoothness, usually within 1-2 years. Spending big bucks on expensive non-stick pans just isn't worth it. Going cheaper isn't good either though as cheaper pots warp easily and most are made out of cheap aluminum and won't…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Almost never

I love these cookware pans

I bought the 12" version after using my friend's 10" pan while I was at home. These anodized pans are the best nonstick option in my opinion and I've tried many options. I've read some reviews where the reviewer seems to have issues with the pen. There are no problems here. It's a familiar grip style and stays remarkably cool. But. I think some people hold pots differently. I've seen people use the overhand grip and I understand that when using this grip, that grip can be ridiculously…

  • Quick Change

Great frying pan! best in pots and pans

Love this pan. I love this brand. Many years ago I bought a full set of stainless steel All-Clad cookware - it almost broke the bank! But there are things that I still use to this day and I like it. But I don't really like stainless steel pans - mostly because I like to cook in a non-stick pan. We stopped using nonstick coatings many years ago when there were warnings that they would release and/or flush out toxins. However, recent research shows that storing non-stick pans at medium heat is…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
