This applicator is the best way to use thicker acrylic glue, but unfortunately it doesn't last long and needs to be replaced due to too much hardening in the nozzle accumulate residues. I used a thin metal stick to clean it between uses, but it eventually became completely clogged and unusable. The most important factor doesn't seem to have been how often I used it, but how often. With daily use it could be salvaged by unhooking it with a metal rod each time, but after a week of non-use the attachment was practically useless. So this is what I have to replace for every project I work on. It certainly has its pros and cons. I've still used it and even bought a replacement when it got clogged because it's the only one I could find that allows me to reliably manage the amount of glue I want to release.
