Although I would never use the remote control as a trainer, this product is the best for kicking bad habits! While the instructions say to use the horn buttons for "good job," I use it as a warning so I don't have to spray my dog as much. It works well. I lent it to our friends for their dog so they don't jump on people. Another habit I can think of that has helped us break or could potentially help us break: barking (obviously), jumping on furniture they shouldn't, crossing invisible barriers you might have in your house that you never wanting, eating their own poop or someone else's, digging holes in the grass or garden, grabbing toys/shoes/other things, chewing on things they shouldn't, biting people, pooping or urinating in the house. etc. I've found that this actually works best if, after setting up a rule, I could use it when my dog couldn't see me or knew I was around and watching. So the dog figured the collar had a mind of its own and the rules didn't just apply when I was around.
