Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Ralos Mini Bike Handlebar Extender: Space-Saving Handlebar Extension Bracket for GPS, Phone, Light & More - Compatible with iPhone, Samsung & All Bikes by Ryan Person

Great, but clamping screws are not required universal

I bought a very cheap Walmart Gravelbike (Kent Eagle Ridge 700c) and ordered this extension because there is almost no way to attach any accessories to the handlebars. The way it runs is perfect, the shims keep it from hitting the handlebar clamp on the stem and it's just the right position without interfering with handlebar real estate (I put it through the top bolts first, am but since moved down for better aerodynamics). However, the bolts that come with it (and their corresponding spacers) are M4 bolts, while my bike's stem is M6. So I had to go to a hardware store, find bolts and washers that were the same diameter as my bike's bolts and the same length as those bolts (I mean 40mm long?), and find spacers to match the new bolt diameters. Since the only washers they had were nylon washers with an oversized OD, I bought a short length of stainless steel hollow bar with the correct ID and used a Dremel cutter to cut it into half inch spacers specifically for this purpose. I also had to use a dremel to widen the holes in the bracket itself to accommodate larger diameter screws. Aside from running around for materials, everything I did was pretty easy with the right tools, and the total extra cost was about $6. included bolts, but be sure to check your bike's hardware size and be prepared to do something similar if it doesn't. For the price and even with the extra work, it was worth it.
