Review on ACDelco 214 646 Original Equipment Canister by Bryan Turner

***Update 1/6/2020*** The goal was to repair engine code P0446 (EVAP Ventilation Control Circuit): I purchased and installed the following parts in order: 1. ACDelco 214-646 GM Original Vapor Canister Purge Valve2. ACDelco 214-1091 GM Original Equipment Vapor Canister Purge Valve -> Same P0446 check engine code came back after about 200 miles3. ACDelco 215-407 GM Original Equipment Vapor Canister4. ACDelco MU1615 GM OE fuel pump and level sensor module with gasket, float and wiring harness -> code cleared, driven 80 miles, no code yet. about 200 miles with ACDelco 214-646 and ACDelco 214-1091 installed. Same code P0446. I ordered a new gas cap. If the gas cap doesn't work, then the charcoal canister.————Very easy to assemble. Located on the front of the engine above the throttle body under the plastic engine cover. Bought this ACDelco 214-646 AND ACDelco 214-1091 hoping to fix engine code P0446 (EVAP ventilation control circuit). So far I've installed both items, cleared the engine code and only driven about 30 miles and the code hasn't come back yet (although the car needs a lot more driving to say for sure I've fixed the issue). *Note* To remove the plastic tube, simply press down on the plastic slide clamp while pushing the hose down against the motor (pushing down against the motor is only to loosen the plastic tube before pulling up). Then tighten the hose. The plastic cable clip is fragile and can easily break. You just have to press the plastic clip to remove the plastic line.
