Review on 💡 SmartThings Compatible Philips Dimmable LED Equivalent by Drew Panah

I rarely write reviews but I am so impressed with these bulbs that I have to. We have some very old Phillips Hue bulbs and the first version of the Hue Bridge, and I expected those bulbs to be difficult, if not impossible, to work. We've wanted to replace most of the light bulbs in our house with Phillips Hue bulbs for a long time, but they don't come cheap! So when I saw them I thought I could try them for the price (about half the price of 2 Phillips Hue bulbs) and if they don't work I can always return them. Well let me tell you these bulbs are so amazing to us that I have already bought them 5 times! Remember that you need a jumper for these lamps. Anyway, I screwed them into the bulb sockets, opened the Hue app and they don't recognize the bulbs. I thought I was going to get a huge headache trying to get it to work. Then I saw that if the app doesn't recognize the bulbs you type in the serial number on the bulbs so I unscrewed the bulbs and looked at the number printed on the bulbs (it's the 6 digit number after the letter) typed that in and the app recognized the lightbulbs right away. Wow! I didn't even have to press the bridge button again. The bulbs work with almost every app I use for Hue - OnSwitch, Hue Thunder, Hue Fireworks etc and like others I find some color accuracy and intensity (especially blue and green!) MUCH better than Lamp Hue! Like, no competition! The greens and blues of the Philips Hue bulbs are barely green or blue, more like a lime hue and a barely blue hue. We all had these green tinted lightbulbs on St. Patrick's Day and let me tell you they were a REAL bright dark green. We were so impressed! Needless to say I am very impressed with these bulbs and will be purchasing more soon to replace most of the bulbs in our home. Feel free to buy them. For real! You are awesome :D
