You get what you pay for. QUALITATIVE!

Simply the best petticoat I've ever bought! The quality of this skirt is excellent. Three layers of material. The first and third layers are made of soft organza with a beautiful ribbon trim along the bottom edge. The middle layer is made of traditionally stiff tulle mesh, which gives the skirt a large shape. This layer also has a satin ribbon trim along the bottom. The soft organza layer is pleasant on the skin and does not scratch at all. I bought the ruby red and it's great! The color is so rich and deep that it definitely matches the given swatches. I almost went with regular red, but I wanted a more intense color and based on the examples given I went with ruby. I'm glad I did. The hardest thing for me was deciding the size. The description lists a size range based on your waist measurement in inches, but also lists XS, S, M, L, XL. so how to solve? I know I usually wear an ML top and bottom, but I had no idea what my waist size was. I knew I would fit comfortably in my husband's 30 inch jeans so I chose them. elastic stretch underskirt. I'm size 10-12 and choose size S. Fits great. firm enough that you don't have to worry about it slipping or sliding down, and it won't leave you with a muffin on it or gasping for air. I think I could have chosen the M as well if the S wasn't available. Also, I'm 5 feet tall. I usually have to buy loose dresses in a shorter size to make them look right on me. long dresses most girls are just below the knee, mine are half-calf which makes me look even lower, so choosing a knee-length skirt was an important consideration for my shorter, looser dresses. She barely peeks out of the hem of the dress, which I love. Why invest in such a pretty petticoat if you can't show it off a little bit? The petticoat has an adjustable waistband with a buttonhole and buttons, so it can be pulled up a little if it's a little too big. But I wouldn't take more than one size up from your normal size. Although the waistband is adjustable, you don't want everything bunched up underneath your lovely loose dress because you had to over tighten it. When I opened the box it was very tightly wrapped in a plastic bag. I opened my bag and loosened my skirt. It was very pretty right out of the bag, but Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuyuyuyuy especially the tulle layer. Badly creased in places and not as pretty as the organza layers which were fine straight out of the box. So I figured it was in hopes that I could get all the layers evenly curled and pretty. Washing instructions say hand wash in warm water, tumble dry. I washed mine in the washing machine on the gentle cycle with warm wash/warm rinse. It washes well and when it came out of the washing machine it was perfect. All three layers were nice and curly just like the picture in the description. I chose not to dry it fluffy, I hung it on a hanger so it can air dry and the layers have a better chance of laying flat and smoothing out wrinkles better. It's so pretty, cute and full of bow details. Below is my favorite part! I have another fluffy organza petticoat, not Malco, but it is very similar to Malco Mode's soft chiffon petticoat (style 815) and this one is much prettier! (Yes, I bought another petticoat to pair with a corset and a much shorter dress, and it's great for that purpose, but if you want something to wear under a loose dress, check out this one Get a petticoat!I will definitely be buying more skirts from Malco Modes in every color I can get my hands on.
