My knives have been in need of sharpening for a long time. My butcher knife didn't cut tomatoes and I figured it was time to ditch the knives and get new ones. I came across this sharpener on AMAZON and decided to order it to see if it worked. I laughed when I read the instructions that said you only have to pull the knife through 4 times. Knowing how dull my knives were, I was almost certain I would need to sharpen them to near zero, but I followed the directions. I stabbed it four times with a butcher knife as suggested and was surprised when my butcher knife sliced through the tomato like butter. I highly recommend this sharpener. IT WORKS.
