So we have a gift basket of sorts, presumably for the winners of the prize. I'll admit I stumbled across this meal, but...well, it contains a number of relatively different items anyway. First there are socks with an inscription. Maybe this is fun novelty for some, personally I don't understand the appeal of this species in general. There is also a cork with a pineapple tip. Why? Why did you use THIS wine stopper design? Strange. It also comes with a candle. This is a candle. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with wine itself. This is for a bunch of goodwill. The best non-edible item is the jar - it's a nice metal cup that freezes well and keeps food pretty cold. It even has a drinking lid, although it's not a full lid so you can't use it to shake cocktails or anything like that. As for the food supply. The cookies are ok. Not a big fan of fruit in cookies, but cranberries are relatively harmless, so they were pretty good. Contrary to what it looks like on the packaging, the nut mix is more than glazed nuts, it is also dried fruit. that's good again. but a bit misleading. Both are one-off short things that seem out of place. And finally a mix of drinks. It's basically a fancy Kool Aid meant to make some sort of wine punch or alternatively wine mash. As someone else suggested, who could need this for a "wine lover"? Seems like a waste of time. This makes a suggestion for a "virgin" version with ginger ale, but I'm not going to buy a soda just for that. In the right proportions, it's not TERRIBLE, like a mixed drink of course. However, I'm just curious again. What's all this about? I guess a lot of people like this gift basket concept, but it doesn't work for me. To be honest I just can't get into the whole concept.
