Amcrest SmartHome 4MP Outdoor WiFi Camera Bullet 4MP Outdoor Security Camera all the necessary items for installation and instructions for an easy setup. Physical Product: The camera itself feels very solid; The material used appears to be water repellent. Good mounting bracket (adjustment issue - loosening the two screws on the back requires rotating the camera and difficult to install as the screw is not visible and you have to feel the screw's position to adjust). The camera is covered with a film to protect it from scratches (good display). The antenna on the side can be rotated about 90 degrees (upright for better Wi-Fi reception). The quality of the screws could be better, when adjusting the screws it started trimming. Video Quality: 4MP camera, video quality is pretty good. Area coverage of 101 degrees/distance is good. Night vision at night is amazing, crystal clear! It has a long range and can see the entire backyard. Cons: Multiple crashes when using Amcrest View Pro. It's either too small or sometimes pixelated (no motion detected). There are also connection problems, although the distance between the router and the camera is approx. 20 feet away. APP Installation: Used by Amcrest View Pro, easy connection. Either scan the QR code or enter S/N, just connect to the app. Use an app to set up motion detection and it works great. Movement in the selected region will automatically trigger an alert on your mobile phone. As it is connected to Wi-Fi (rather than a hard cable) there is a few seconds delay between actual movement and the video projected onto the Amcrest View Pro. Overall Rating: Pretty good camera for the price. Ability to use Wi-Fi instead of a wired connection. The camera can easily be connected to an Amcrest Smart Home or Amcrest View Pro. I would suggest adding instructions on how to add this camera to View Pro so we can combine all the cameras on one screen. The video quality is professional and has to withstand weather conditions like snow/wind.——— Update———————— The camera worked for a week and stopped working at all, contacted the technical support, it takes at least 2 to 3 days for an answer after sending the requested photos and questions. Now the camera won't connect, amcrest support or product testing is not responding. Really upset with the company as I have multiple devices from them.
