This foam vacuum filter works great. It fits my 20+ year old, 1hp/1 gallon. Shop Vac (model 500x) is excellent. These filters are designed to collect liquids, but I use them with blue paper filters for extra filtration. This is great for picking up fine dust like sawdust and drywall without it all being blown back through the exhaust port. The filters are also easy to clean. I would have given this filter 5 stars but 1 filter was shorted out in my order so I downgraded 1 star. The listing specifically states that these are "2 packs". Reading the reviews I see that many other buyers of this item have also been shortened by 1 filter. You would think that Revain would correct the number on this list after reading most of the reviewers who said they shorted the filter. However, I can only recommend a filter based on performance.
