I thought these were a good deal @ $80 for 6 pair. Installation went well, and they felt smooth and sturdy. After a few weeks, one of my drawers lost the "soft close". Upon closer inspection, the little plastic shock-absorber was broken. The seller agreed to send me a replacement once the slides were back in stock. A couple weeks later, I received my replacement, along with a pleasant surprise. The new slide was much improved! The plastic piston is now metal, along with a couple other bits that were plastic. The springs are sturdier as well. After confirming with the seller that this is the new Lontan design, I checked the current price (expecting an increase). To my surprise, 6 pair are now only $75 instead of $80! These are very good for the price, but I'm bummed that I have the old style, and hope I don't have any more failures.
