Love this sharpener. I would like to see a rough stone that could be used in place of carbide. For those where the knife still has a blade. In my opinion, hard metal wears away a lot of metal even with very light blows. It was easy and comfortable to use and hold, and was very stable with a non-slip bottom. If you're careful, you can feel when the knife is sharp as it's just a nice, smooth pull with little resistance. It's as good as some time on the stone, no, but it's great for a quick touch-up. Only used the ceramic blade sharpener on one knife, but it helped clean his blade. The ceramic blade sharpener is a nice addition. If there were 3 steps to make regular knives I would give it 5 stars.
