I prefer to pour sealant and top up through the valve. Remove the valve insert, fill in sealant and carry on living. This product has both a flexible tubular insert and one that can be screwed on. For Presta valves, flexible hoses are really the only option. I love that I can measure exactly how much sealant is going in using the increments marked on the side of the syringe. My only criticism is that the syringe is too small to add sealant to a new gravel/mountain bike tire. 60 ml is not enough for a tire of this size. So you have to do it twice, but it doesn't matter. The included valve core tool is a nice bonus and considering the syringe and tubing are all plastic I think they should include one to justify the price.
