Instructions Shake well and add 1 tablespoon to 16 ounces of water. I started slow, adding just 1 tablespoon to a full dog water bowl that holds up to 64 ounces of water (probably 58 ounces full). My dogs drank it with no problems and I didn't notice any side effects. Even with this diluted dose, I noticed a slight whiff of mint on my dog's breath after drinking water. I will slowly increase the dose over several weeks, just as I would with a diet change. I don't know if I will increase to the recommended dose (1 tablespoon per 16 oz) because I will stop when I feel it is effective. So far (a few days) all 3 of my dogs (bulldog puppy, 12 year old schnauzer, 15 year old cockapoo) have taken it with no problems. If I notice any negative effects (stomach upset) I will let you know.
