Wanted to try these boards because I have prototyped several different NodeMCU clones and I have to say that the fit and finish of the board makes them not worth it. The connector pins aren't directly soldered, so you have a hell of a time plugging them into a breadboard. Also, the mechanical shielding of the GPIO pins is poorly done and they are difficult to read on the board. I haven't downloaded them yet, but I have to say I'm not happy with how cheaply they're put together. ***Update*** Just wanted to let everyone know more about the product. After my initial review (above) the company contacted me and sent me a second set to see if they fixed my issue. After receiving them, I opened the package to find the first device with perfect pins but still poor silkscreened GPIO distribution. I reach into the second bag and see that the second block is just as bent as the others I received, if not a little more. The bent pins aren't from bad packaging, it's because the pins are hand-soldered (Maker Focus verified) and their supplier doesn't seem to use a fixture to hold the board and pins in the correct alignment. They were willing to work with me to ensure customer satisfaction, but once all boards were tested for build quality I didn't want them to send more boards. However, the second board with the bent solder pins cannot source power from any of pins 3 through 3. I've measured the board with a known good configuration, but there's no power coming from either side of the connection. Since I was planning on using them with breadboards, I'm now stuck and using two of them with jumpers instead, which makes prototyping a bit more confusing. Based on their attempt to find a solution I gave them an extra star because their support overshadows their product.
