Inaccurate for thermometers and meteorological instruments

This thermometer seemed to be inaccurate. It read about 10 degrees more than several other thermometers (my thermometer with thermostat and 3 other thermometers all reading within 1-2 degrees of each other). It's hard to believe that they will all be wrong. Maybe the thermometer was a lemon and they would have replaced it. I didn't go that route.
