This worked very nicely when we got it. It performs as well as the other diffusers we have in the house. Unlike many of the others I've ordered, this one did not come with a sample set of oils so I suggest ordering some oils when you order this if you don't have them on hand at home. It really is pretty whether on or off. With that being said, there's one problem. It's VERY fragile. About two days after setting this up it tipped over and broke into pieces. Mind you, it didn't fall onto the floor it just tipped over and then broke apart. If you have kids or pets or are prone to bumping into things this probably isn't the best choice for your home. Otherwise, it really is a lovely diffuser.
