I rarely write reviews but have been very happy with this phone, I use it for much more than just a phone. On a whim, I decided to sign up for a SIP account and added a leased line to my office. When it came to the phone, I was basically looking for something that would look good on my desk - I did a little research and it fit. My use case: This phone sits on my desk under my main computer monitor - it has become a second monitor for me. In the mornings I usually use my phone to start the Plex and turn on the messages (which I keep on hold throughout the day). I set this up to receive calls from my iPhone via Bluetooth along with a SIP line - pretty cool to be able to pick up a wired phone to answer the iPhone. My favorite apps were Plex, Zoom (Hangouts work fine with Zoom), YouTube, and my home security cameras via the Synology DS Cam app. Google calendar works great too - it's open during the day and gets notifications, dialing doesn't work through the phone's dialer BUT zoomed appointment links work which is great. I haven't tried Google Hangouts yet, I use it a lot too. I also use home automation for this, it was great to be able to control everything with my home assistant control panel. One last thing: apps automatically close when a call comes in, which is great (I had very low expectations for this phone). POE+ / LLDP: I have an Aruba switch at home and was trying LLDP for the first time. Initially I couldn't get POE+ to work without rebooting the phone - the phone used a lot of power (so high that turning it on with POE shows a warning about disabling certain features), but I set it up on a dedicated port and it works perfectly. Also tried WLAN via power supply, works very well. Aesthetics: Looks great on my desk, has a very high quality finish, looks and feels like a phone. The headset is heavy, looks representative and doesn't look like a plastic cell phone. Phone/Voice Quality: Voice quality is good, supports all latest SIP protocols supported by my ISP. The connection took about 5 minutes. I was expecting amazing speakerphones, but everyone I asked said the quality wasn't amazing (one person said I sounded like I was in a bathroom with an echo). The quality of the phone is good. Final Thoughts: In general, as mentioned earlier, the phone isn't always the fastest to respond. You can tap on things and it's either lagging, or the app buttons further down the screen can be hard to hit. I've had many apps that didn't work (couldn't install) or crashed, but the main ones I use have been reliable. Hopefully they'll be pushing for a more recent Android OS update in the future - the phone, as it is, has changed my daily workflow and made it extremely useful. It's like having a mini TV or other monitor on your desk (in addition to your phone).
