
I like my Pyrex glass bowls: they are dishwasher safe, acid proof etc. However the lids are their weak point and useless without them. She. I've gone through two cap replacement cycles (1st cycle didn't help them, 2nd attempt - bad for me). All my pyrex plastic lids (except one, good genes for some reason?), original and replacement, have cracked or cracked on the edge over time. The rim of the lid is a weak point (the plastic here is thinner and made cheaper. About 10 lids in all, all useless now when I need a tight seal. I recommend a sturdier plastic storage jar (dishwasher safe, maybe with sidelocks) or maybe silicone lids if they are flexible enough.
