This is exactly what I needed! Most chargers will not charge Li-Ion and NiMH batteries at the same time, but this charger will charge both! I've had many bad batteries over the years that I've had to throw away, although these days I use rechargeable batteries almost exclusively. One of the many great features is that this allows you to view the charge, amps and volts of each individual battery that is inserted and toggle the display. I was able to sort out some of my underperforming batteries and mark them with a marker so I know they can only be used in less demanding devices. If you have a lot of powerful flashlights or sophisticated electronics this will help ensure you are getting the best charge and know the condition of your batteries and can charge almost any type of battery. It doesn't support C and D sizes or rectangular 9 volts, but any other cylindrical battery I have will fit and charge here. Overall, my expectations were met and exceeded! I highly recommend this item!
