Considering the price you pay for it, this is a very good revolver knife. I wanted to use a second rotary knife with a delicate blade to avoid having to switch to a straight blade. The blade is ceramic, and only this cost compensates for the price of the handle. It would be unfair to compare it to a $50-$80 rotary knife as you should expect more for the extra price. It was sharp enough to cut right out of the box, but you should ALWAYS touch up the blade when starting a new project. The ceramic blade holds its edge well and I haven't had any major issues with the quality of the leather carving. It comes with two extra set screws as they are tiny and easy to lose if dropped which was an added bonus. Depending on how you look at it, the height of the yoke is adjusted by one of the adjusting screws and cannot be adjusted during operation. This means it won't slide down when you press it to carve, but just make sure you adjust it to the right height for your finger so it doesn't hurt with prolonged use. All in all, this is a pretty good revolver knife for the price and for those wanting to learn leatherworking.
